The difference

The only blocker that does both.

For people who need dedicated focus time consistently, every other tool gets only half of it right. Schedule blockers turn on by themselves but let the clock unlock you. Focus timers make you earn the unlock - but only if you have the willpower to start them in the first place.

How it works

Three steps to
protected focus.

GoalKeeper is infrastructure for a commitment you've already made to yourself. Set it up once. Let it run.

Work towards your goal: Launch my side business this summer
now
1
Set your goal and daily practice window.
Name what you're working toward. Choose which apps to block. Schedule the window when app blocking begins.

The goal you set then follows you everywhere it counts - your schedule notification, the block screen, and the focus timer - so your reason is in front of you at every decision point.

2
Start anytime after your schedule begins.
Once your schedule begins for the day, distracting apps lock immediately - but you can start your focus session whenever you're ready, first thing or later in the day. Apps stay locked until your timer completes.
3
Finish your session. Your apps unlock.
Complete your focus timer and your blocked apps unlock for the rest of the day. Every session you finish adds to your record, so your progress builds over time.

Your consistency, made visible

Proof you keep showing up.

Every completed session is logged and counted, building a visible record of your practice. The point isn't a flawless streak - it's seeing the days add up and letting that momentum pull you back tomorrow.

  • Every session counts. Complete your focus timer and it's added to your record.
  • See your momentum. Your recent days at a glance, so consistency is easy to feel.
  • Your whole history, visualized. Not just today - every day you've shown up.
FAQ

Questions, answered.

What if I have to take a break?
Pause the timer and pick it back up later - your progress is saved, and the session resumes right where you left off. Your blocked apps stay locked the whole time, including while paused - they only unlock once the timer fully completes.
Do I have to keep GoalKeeper open during my session?
No. Start your timer and go - use your other apps, lock your phone, or let the screen turn off. The session keeps running in the background, and it even persists if GoalKeeper is fully closed. Your blocked apps stay locked the whole time.
What if I don't finish my session for the day?
Your apps stay locked for the rest of your scheduled window and unlock on their own when the day ends. Completing a session is the only way to unlock early - and the next day starts fresh.
Can I get permanently locked out?
No. Blocking only applies during the window you schedule, and always releases at the end of the day. You're never locked out of your phone for good.
Which apps can I block?
Any app on your iPhone. Pick the ones that pull you off track - Instagram, TikTok, X, games, whatever it is - and GoalKeeper keeps them locked until you've done the work.
Who is this app not for?
GoalKeeper isn't a general-purpose app blocker. If you want to mute distractions here and there, set always-on limits, or be able to take a quick break from the block, this isn't the right fit - there are no one-off bypasses or block breaks. It's built for people with a recurring focus practice who want their distracting apps locked until the work is done.
