Your daily focus,
protected.

The only iOS app blocker that locks itself on your schedule and won't unlock until you've put in real focus time. This is The GoalKeeper Protocol.

For people who've committed to a daily practice or working session and want it actually enforced.

The difference

The only blocker that locks on a schedule and makes you earn the unlock.

When you need dedicated focus time consistently, every other tool leaves an easy way out. Schedule blockers turn on by themselves but let the clock unlock you. Focus timers make you earn the unlock - but only if you have the willpower to start them in the first place.

Even the apps that do both - Opal, Jomo - keep them as two separate modes, so the escape hatch never closes.

Only GoalKeeper does both in the same mechanism: it arms itself with a schedule-initiated block - and the only way out is through the work, with focus time you start intentionally.

How it works

Three steps to
protected focus.

GoalKeeper is infrastructure for a commitment you've already made to yourself.

Apps locked
Work towards your goal: Launch my side business this summer
now
1
Set your goal and when blocking starts each day.
Name what you're working toward. Choose which apps and websites to block. Schedule the time when app blocking begins.

The goal you set then follows you everywhere it counts - your schedule notification, the block screen, and the focus timer - so your reason is in front of you at every decision point.

2
Start The GoalKeeper Protocol
Once your schedule begins for the day, distracting apps lock immediately - but you can start your focus session whenever you're ready, first thing or later in the day.

Take breaks and come back later if you need to - your apps stay locked until your timer completes.

3
Finish your session. Your apps unlock.
Complete your focus timer and your blocked apps unlock for the rest of the day. Every session you finish adds to your record, so your progress builds over time.

Your consistency, made visible

Proof you keep showing up.

Every completed session is logged and counted, building a visible record of your practice. The point isn't a flawless streak - it's seeing the days add up and letting that momentum pull you back tomorrow.

  • Watch the hours climb. A weekly chart traces your focus hours across the months, turning scattered sessions into a visible upward trend.
  • See every day at a glance. A monthly calendar marks the days you hit your target, the days you fell short, and your rest days - tap any day for the details.
FAQ

Questions, answered.

What if I have to take a break?
Pause the timer and pick it back up later - your progress is saved, and the session resumes right where you left off. Your blocked apps stay locked the whole time, including while paused - they only unlock once the timer fully completes.
Do I have to keep GoalKeeper open during my session?
No. Start your timer and go - use your other apps, lock your phone, or let the screen turn off. The session keeps running in the background, and it even persists if GoalKeeper is fully closed. Your blocked apps stay locked the whole time.
What if I don't finish my session for the day?
Your apps stay locked for the rest of the day and unlock on their own when it ends. Completing a session is the only way to unlock early - and the next day starts fresh.
What if I don't want to block apps every day, or want different schedules on different days?
Your schedule is set per day of the week. Turn any day fully off for rest days with no blocking at all, and give each active day its own start time and session length. Want weekdays locked down and weekends free, or a shorter session on Sundays? Set each day exactly how you want it.
What can I block?
Any app on your iPhone - Instagram, TikTok, X, games, whatever pulls you off track. You can block specific websites too, and they stay blocked in every browser, including Chrome - not just Safari.
Who is this app not for?
GoalKeeper isn't a general-purpose app blocker. If you want to mute distractions here and there, set always-on limits, run a schedule that lifts the block at a set end time, or be able to take a quick break from the block, this isn't the right fit. GoalKeeper's block lifts when you've earned it by putting in the focus time, not when the clock hits a certain hour, and there are no one-off bypasses or block breaks. It's built for people with a recurring focus practice who want their distracting apps locked until the work is done.
